HEGLA’s IG2Pieces system has been nominated for the prestigious Fensterbau Innovation Award, highlighting its contribution to advancing circular solutions in the glass industry.

The innovative machine enables the separation of old or defective insulated glass units without damaging the glass panes or spacers. This process allows the individual panes to be cleanly sorted by type for recycling, while also enabling damaged units to be repaired or reused.

IG2Pieces represents a significant step toward greater resource efficiency, financial sustainability and a stronger circular economy in the flat glass sector.

HEGLA will present the technology live at FENSTERBAU FRONTALE at booth 3A-104, where visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the system and its benefits.
