When today’s Chairman Stuart Braham set up Hazlemere Window Company with his father George Braham and brother Ian Braham early in 1985, he could not have imagined that 34 years later that their family business would grow to become one of the region’s leading employers.

Nowadays Hazlemere Commercial has a 56,000 square foot factory and Head Office premises on Cressex Business Park in High Wycombe and employs around eighty full-time staff. Many of the Braham family still work within the business. Stuart is still the Managing Director, and together with many other family members they have seen the company flourish.

Their ethos of first class customer service together with high quality products combined with traditional craftsmanship has certainly paid off. The company is run nowadays by Stuart’s daughter Rachel as Managing Director, whose younger sister Laura also works full time in this family business as the Human Resources Manager.

This independent aluminium double-glazing manufacturer and installer has made no secret of its success and why so many of the employees are happy to remain so loyal. The company have made it a policy to retain the skills, enthusiasm and dedication of their key employees through encouragement, rewarding craftsmanship and promoting from within.

Main contractors, local authorities, Management Consultancies and residential associations have been happy to return to them too, and much of Hazlemere Commercial’s work comes from repeat business and recommendation.

The business may have initially started off as a humble aluminium and UPVC supplier and installer to local homeowners, but today the Commercial Division at Hazlemere offers a full range of commercial fenestration services, including design, technical assistance, wind-load calculations, surveying, fabrication, installation and post installation maintenance.

Its product range has been developed extensively over the past thirty-four years and there has been huge growth in their local authority, schools and main contractor client base.

From new build to refurbishment schemes, Hazlemere Commercial caters for various types of commercial projects from estates of new build homes, commercial properties to full high rise block refurbishments, but the original ethos of customer service and quality is still very much at the fore.

There are a great deal of window and door manufacturers to choose from in the UK today, but Hazlemere Commercial offers a robust ten year guarantee on both its products and its installation, which gives added reassurance that their products will stand the test of time. Double glazing profiles it supplies and fits include AluK, REHAU, Sapa and Synseal.

The success spanning four decades won’t mean that Hazlemere will be resting on its laurels. The plan is to not to sit still – but as Stuart Braham points out, it is vital to keep core values in place. “We are all too well aware of the competition we face and how we have to ensure that each and every client receives our very best service from the moment they initially contact us, right through to the final stages of installation. Our reputation for delivering this sort of service is one of the reasons why we have enjoyed such outstanding success over the last thirty-four years.”

So not only do family owned and run Hazlemere Commercial offer all their clients decades of experience and expertise, but also the peace of mind that are dealing with a well-established company which genuinely cares about people, especially their customers and staff.

And if that were not enough, Hazlemere are Constructionline, TrustMark, Chas and Exor accredited, plus are active members of the Glass and Glazing Federation, ISO 9001:2015 accredited for Quality Management , Members of the National Federation of Glaziers and ISO 14001:2015 accredited for Waste Management.

So after having been in business during the last four decades, Hazlemere remains family owned and run, with no plans to change the ethos of the business. Given that so many clients, suppliers and staff have successfully grown alongside Hazlemere Window Company Ltd, they will only be too delighted with this news.
