Glaston Group makes changes to the Executive Management Group

Glaston and Burghard Schneider have together agreed that Mr Schneider leaves the Group on 27 May 2019.

Burghard Schneider has been responsible for the Bystronic glass business since 2014 and member of Glaston Group's Executive Management Group (EMG) as of 1 April 2019. Dietmar Walz, former Chief Sales Officer at Bystronic glass, will assume the position as President for the Bystronic glass business and member of the EMG.

“I want to thank Burghard for his contribution and for a very successful financial turnaround of Bystronic glass. We wish him success for the future. Dietmar, with his experience from the Bystronic glass management team and responsibility for sales and services globally, will be a good addition to our EMG” says President and CEO Arto Metsänen.
