FGIA is pleased to announce it will participate as an association partner in GlassBuild Connect: The Glass & Fenestration Online Experience, taking place September 1-30 at GlassBuild.com.

Although the live GlassBuild America trade show is cancelled for 2020 in Las Vegas, GlassBuild Connect seeks to bring together attendees and exhibitors online for a month-long product- and education-focused event – GlassBuild Connect. Starting September 1, registered visitors to GlassBuild.com can connect to learn about thousands of products and services from nearly 350 of the industry’s leading glass and fenestration suppliers.

Registrants will also have access to daily educational events, economic and trend forecast presentations, product demonstrations and other informative programming throughout the month, such as:

  • Trendhunter (highlighting industry innovations)
  • Daily demos and videos
  • Technical and code presentations
  • “Ask the experts” opportunities
  • Interviews and vlogs with Glass Magazine and Window+Door editors
  • Webinars and town halls with “must know now” content
  • Social media “takeovers” for product categories

Registrants will get alerts about special content for each themed weekday:

  • Manufacturing Mondays
  • Outlook Tuesdays
  • Performance Wednesdays
  • Installation Thursdays
  • Fenestration Fridays

In addition to providing quality content for these themed weekdays, FGIA will use social media to showcase its members companies’ products for buyers and prospects to explore online during the entire month of September.

“We are thrilled GlassBuild will still take place in an online form, complete with the rich content and extensive educational opportunities GlassBuild participants have come to expect from the show,” said Janice Yglesias, FGIA Executive Director. "Our members will benefit from information specific to their products and relevant to our industry."

GlassBuild Connect organizers believe one month will give buyers plenty of time to view nearly 350 online exhibitors and take advantage of all the other special events planned.

“GlassBuild America has been connecting buyers and sellers for decades, and we’re not letting COVID-19 break that connection,” says Nicole Harris, President and CEO of the National Glass Association (NGA) - the organizer and host of GlassBuild America and GlassBuild Connect.

Registration for GlassBuild Connect will open August 3, and access is free for all industry visitors.
