FENSA names The Milford Window Company as its January Installation of the Month winner, recognising outstanding design and installation excellence.

FENSA has named The Milford Window Company as its January Installation of the Month winner, recognising a standout residential project that demonstrates how high-quality installation and considered design can transform a property’s kerb appeal.

Based in Surrey, The Milford Window Company has built a strong local reputation for delivering bespoke window and door installations.

Specialising in replacement windows, doors and home improvement solutions, the company combines traditional craftsmanship with a design-led approach:  something clearly reflected in this award-winning project.

The award shines a spotlight on exemplary workmanship from FENSA Approved Installers and reinforces its commitment to championing its network of installers.

The winning installation impressed assessors with its confident pairing of traditional-style replacement windows and bold, statement-coloured entrance doors. The combination successfully balances classic detailing with contemporary personality, creating a striking first impression and elevating the overall frontage of the home.

The assessor particularly praised the attention to detail and overall aesthetic finish, noting that the design cohesion across the property made the installation stand out immediately. The project serves as a powerful example of how thoughtfully specified replacement windows and doors can significantly enhance a home’s appearance while maintaining full compliance with current Building Regulations.

“What really stood out with this installation was the design confidence”, explained Sam Davies, Technical Manager at FENSA. “The use of traditional-style windows alongside bold entrance doors shows how replacement products can complement the character of a property while still making a strong, modern statement.

“Attention to detail is everything in our industry. It’s not just about fitting a compliant product; it’s about the quality of the finish, the overall presentation and the lasting impression it leaves with the homeowner. This project is a real testament to how skilled installers can enhance kerb appeal while delivering to the highest standards.”

The Installation of the Month initiative plays an important role in celebrating the expertise within FENSA’s installer community and providing positive visibility for businesses that are raising standards across the sector.

As the winner of the January accolade, The Milford Window Company will be entered into the Installation of the Year competition at the G26 Awards, as well as £50 in Amazon vouchers, as well as professional social media assets to celebrate their win.

Installers wishing to enter future Installation of the Month competitions can submit projects directly via the FENSA application page at Installation of the Month Submission.
