Creating a bright, open space using light…

“SmartGlass has helped to enhance guests experience providing something new and exciting.

It has enhanced the sense of space in the rooms, making our rooms feel cheerful and bright. Some of our rooms have really high ceilings (Grade 2 listed Georgian townhouse) which makes the smartglass even more impressive. All in all I think that smartglass has helped us create a sense of identity and helped us enhance our technological theme.”

Wall partitioning within guest rooms diminishes both light and space but has been seen as necessary for bathroom privacy. A number of hotels have responded by installing privacy glass that allows light to pass through while maintaining a level of privacy. Privacy glass combines the functionality of an opaque wall with the style and lighting of clear glass. With glass being inherently thin, designers are turning ever more toward it to save space and inject style. This use of glass ties in with the prevailing trend of hotels pursuing clean, minimalist styles in room design.

“Dedicated service…modern, clean, spacious room…fantastic facilities…in the nicest mall in Bahrain. If any of these interest you, then you must stay at the Kempinski in Bahrain. The room was very modern and had all of the amenities that you would expect in a 5 star hotel. Separate shower and bath. Open window bathroom and room design with privacy glass.”

“Rooms are spacious and modern, and offers all the required features for a business man or for leisure. My favourite thing is the bathroom wall that can either be as transparent as glass or as opaque as milk with the snap of a button.”
