The Fenzi Group expresses their gratitude to everyone for attending BeOpen Porte e Finestre 2023, the event centered around Italy’s fenestration industry, held on October 13th in Bergamo.

In the spotlight were the latest technologies for the development of high-performance windows, with a major focus on environmental sustainability. Also on the schedule, numerous discussions on the latest market trends to provide industry professionals with a complete overview of key topics that will be central to developments in the fenestration industry in the coming months.

Among the solutions on display was the Butylver TPS thermoplastic warm edge spacer by the Fenzi Group used to produce IG units with perfectly sealed edges, superior bond-strength and maximum durability over time. Elements essential to manufacturing high-quality fenestration capable of optimizing energy efficiency through window performance. The singular chemical composition of Fenzi TPS technology ensures flawless adhesion of the spacer to the glass, creating an impenetrable barrier to water vapor and gases, excellent rigidity and stability over time. The Butylver TPS spacer contains a desiccant that delivers long life to the IG unit and a primary butyl sealant that makes it possible to achieve high-level insulation performance without creating breaks in the butyl seal.

Thanks to these characteristics, manufacturers of insulating glass and fenestration can rely on double- and triple-glazing systems with excellent external impermeability to humidity that inhibits penetration and maintains a constant seal of the gas inside the chamber, since it is an impeccably sealed unit.

In addition, there are aesthetic advantages, such as flawless alignment with the edge – above all in double and triple-glazed units – a result that is achieved thanks to the highly controlled, fully automated hot-extrusion application method. Alongside these are operational advantages, like less breakage during transport and installation, due to the nature of the material itself.

A product that embodies ultra-high performance in terms of both thermal insulation and durability, an essential combination for highly energy-efficient window systems, and sustainability, ideal for residential, public and commercial buildings.
