AGC Glass Europe has launched its new Reference App “Glass & Architecture by AGC”. The mobile app allows architects, designers and glass professionals to discover nice and inspiring architectural references from around the world, showcasing AGC glass products and solutions.

Easy to use and compatible with Apple iOS and Android devices, the References App presents interior and exterior glass solutions in various types of buildings and for different applications.Fine-tuning the discovery tourUsers can search and view Exterior and Interior references in numerous countries, using additional search criteria to filter their required selection.While some prefer to look at the different types of applications, such as active glass, structural glazing, wall cladding etc, others will be interested in certain types of buildings, namely schools, office buildings, shopping malls, etc.

From an environmental point of view, utilizers can even look for green certified buildings, searching under LEED, BREEAM, HQE and Cradle to Cradle certified references. Each certified building is furthermore clearly highlighted.

All references are accompanied by a detailed description and a Google map indicator, allowing the user to plan a visit of the building during a discovery trip. In addition, the different projects can be added to a “favourites” list.
