I am looking for 2.1mm clear non-reflective glass that has UV resistant properties. Is there such a product out there? It will be used in picture frames that will be exposed to direct sunlight.
As must people in the repair business will be aware, the heat reflective screens that have appeared over the last few years tend to discolour and silver around the damaged area, owing to what I assume is oxidation of the metals used. Is there a product or resin in the market that can reduce the silvering effect (possibly by effectively eating the metal in the damaged area or re-tinting) to affect a half decent repair?

Can anyone advise what the cost drivers of making float glass are? Usually it's easier to breakdown the after processing costs, however, it's not clear for raw material-float glass. Is there any formula to claculate?
