World of Glass is part of Russian Construction Week, which is a major series of events for the construction industry. It includes World of Glass, RosBuild, and the Forum for Building the Future of Russia Together. The key aim is to promote the implementation of national projects, renovation of the housing stock, development of modern urban environment and low-rise housing. The events bring together professionals to share experience, demonstrate innovations, and generate business contacts.

Show highlights

This year, the show focuses on digitalization and high-tech equipment:

• production automation: double-glazed window sealing robots and complete turnkey lines
• quality control: the first Russian hot coating meters and other analogues of imported equipment
• special coatings: wear-resistant and optical functional coatings, anti-slip floor enamel with 3D metallic chameleon effect
• architectural solutions: frameless glazing systems and curved facades made using 3D mollification powered by the Jinglass software
• glassware and design: inspection equipment for containers up to 56 cm high, craquelure effect for the premium segment and a full range of AZS33-41 refractories

Conference programme

As usual, the show will have a conference programme featuring various forums and panels with leading experts, who will discuss advanced technologies, regulatory and technical changes, and prospects for the development of the Russian and international glass market.

The key events include: 

The Time of Glass 2026 Conference: its participants will discuss trends, government regulation, digitalization and prospects of glass production in the context of global changes. The event is co-organised with the OKNA MEDIA portal.

The Second International Glass Congress is organised jointly with the Association of Glass Container Manufacturers. The main topics are the state of the glass container market, the results of the ERP 2025 reporting, and glass waste disposal technologies.

The Meeting of the Glass Union Presidium: the members of the Presidium will discuss current issues of the Union's activities. Top executives of AIG, Larta Glass, and Salavatsteklo will take part in the meeting.

The Panel Discussion on Quality That Is Seen: its participants will discuss why the usual approaches to checking double-glazed windows do not work, what the market expects from flat glass, and why identical packages behave differently. The event is organised by Glass Research Institute and EXPOCENTRE.

The Technological Tour of World of Glass 2026: Uncharted China will show advanced solutions from Chinese manufacturers and facilitate exchange of experience with engineers from leading factories.
