The Schüco FireStop aluminium fire and smoke protection range has received the prestigious German Design Award 2019. In total, 5400 entries were evaluated.

The jury is impressed with the aluminium fire and smoke protection range (Schüco FireStop ADS 90 FR 30 and ADS 76.NI SP).

German Design Award 2019 "This system is notable for its outstanding versatility, even while in use. The fact that the technical elements are invisibly integrated into the frame endows the door with a spiffy look. A superb product which, with consummate artistry, combines functionality, safety and design."

The key component of the fire protection range is an innovative open rebate profile geometry. Due to the groundbreaking system layout, flexible changes of use can be made without great effort while the building is still in use.

It is also possible to add additional wiring to the doors, replace the lock technology or fit burglar-resistant components at any time. Furthermore, the fittings technology is integrated into the profile, with concealed door locks and door hinges providing clean lines and narrow profile face widths.
