Leading hardware distributor Window Ware is the latest big name to come on board as a sponsor for this year’s Glazing Summit.

Taking place on Thursday, October 21 at Edgbaston Stadium and Conference Centre, Birmingham, the Glazing Summit will welcome some of the industry’s biggest brands for a day of discussion and debate on the biggest issues facing the industry.

Window Ware has lent its backing to the conference since its inaugural event in 2018 and, after an enforced hiatus due to the pandemic last year, the company is very much looking forward to its return.

Window Ware’s MD Sam Nuckey, who spoke at the first Glazing Summit, said: “After such a fantastic event in 2019, it was a real shame the Glazing Summit couldn’t continue its upward trajectory last year. It will be great to get back on track with valuable industry gatherings like this, and we’re delighted to be sponsoring it once again.

“It’s important that the industry has a platform where the supply chain can learn and share information to take back into their businesses. After a year dominated by unique challenges and unprecedented demand, this is even more crucial than ever.

“The Glazing Summit provides the perfect stage to exchange ideas and experiences, and take stock of the last 12 months, and we are looking forward to swapping stories and speaking to fabricators, installers, suppliers and glazing firms from across the country about industry trends and those challenges first-hand.”

Window Ware has been successfully serving the window and door industry with leading brand hardware, tools, and consumables since 1987, helping to ensure fabricator production lines keep moving and trade counter shelves stay stocked.

Andrew Scott, founder of the Glazing Summit, said: “Window Ware has been a big supporter of the Glazing Summit since the beginning, and we are delighted they are with us again. After months of connecting with each other remotely in virtual meetings or over the telephone, it feels like a face-to-face catch-up is long overdue. Consequently, there’s a real excitement about this year’s Summit.”
