Redditch EDC has boosted service quality performance by a massive 78 per cent over the past year. The improvement has been seen in areas such as packaging - where incidents of broken or poor packaging have dropped by nearly 5,000 - and accuracy in picking and shipping orders. "EDC now has 20 TWI trainers spread across all four shifts and they are taking the lead in improving our safety and quality performance," said site manager Richard Leese. "Both areas have shown dramatic improvements this year as a result of more focused training.

The main benefit of TWI and Job Instruction is that it focuses on the 'why' not just the 'how' and this is really producing results."
