Şişecam Digital Annual Report for 2022 is Now Online

Şişecam, a global player in the glass and chemicals industries with more than 24,000 employees in 14 countries, has published its Digital Annual Report, 'In Pursuit of the Future.' The report explains Şişecam's value-creating operations and vision for a sustainable future.

The digital report also includes video interviews of Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kirman- Şişecam Chairman and Executive Member of the Board, and Görkem Elverici- Şişecam CEO, on Şişecam’s operations in fiscal year 2022. These videos answer key questions about the company, including Şişecam's investments, goals for 2023, organizational transformation efforts, the CareforNext sustainability strategy, and R&D investments.

Şişecam successfully completed 2022, moving forward on its sustainable growth journey with its wide production network spanning 14 countries on four continents. In spite of global disruptions in production, supply, and logistics affecting every industry around the world, Şişecam maintained its investments and advanced toward its goals in 2022.

According to its 2022 financial results, Şişecam recorded consolidated net sales of TRY 95.3 Billion (USD 5.8 Billion). Its exports from Türkiye amounted to USD 1.1 Billion. International sales (the sum of exports from Türkiye and sales from production outside Türkiye) accounted for 63 percent of Şişecam's total consolidated sales. In 2022, Şişecam produced 5.8 Million tons of glass, 4.9 Million tons of soda ash, and 4.4 Million tons of industrial raw materials.
