Şişecam Group, a global player in the glass industry as well as in soda and chromium compounds production, hosted 8th “Şişecam Stars Parade” award ceremony to recognize the achievements of employees and to encourage good practices.

Şişecam employees from 13 countries in three continents applied with 158 projects in different fields such as production, energy efficiency, quality, innovation, and technology. Among the competing projects, 28 projects were awarded, while 13 employees were granted the Şişecam’s special award. In addition, nine production facilities were awarded in the “Occupational Health and Safety” category.

During his speech at the ceremony, Şişecam Group Vice Chairman and CEO Prof. Ahmet Kırman pointed out the Group’s goal to be among the top three global producers, and added, “Our leading mission is to carry Şişecam forward into the future. Today, we are producing our products in 13 countries in three continents, and offering our products to customers in 150 countries. We have become a giant family of 22,000 members, and I am extending my thanks to every member of Şişecam Family that makes her/his best for our Group’s success.”
