Şişecam attended the ZeroBuild Forum

Şişecam delivered presentations that explain the reduction of carbon emissions by flat glass products in the "Material Management for Reducing Carbon Emissions in Buildings" and the impact of nZEB on glass industry in "nZEB and Thermal Insulation" sessions of the forum. Şişecam introduced its energy-saving products to sector professionals and presented information on Isıcam K 3+ test tunnel at its booth, where attendees had the opportunity to experience the clearly felt benefits of thermal insulation provided by value added Isıcam products.

Şişecam, one of the world's largest flat glass producers, continues to add value to life with its innovative energy-efficient products. The company undertakes projects and initiatives designed to raise awareness of the energy-efficient coated glass while conducting production, development, and R&D activities for these products. As part of this effort, Şişecam attended the Zero Energy Buildings (ZEB) event ZeroBuild’22 Forum held at TÜYAP on March 23-26, 2022 within the 44th Turkeybuild Istanbul. 

In the "Material Management for Reducing Carbon Emissions in Buildings" session of the forum, Şişecam’s presentation explained how its products help reduce carbon emissions and in “nZEB and Thermal Insulation” session, further information about the impacts of nZEB on the glass industry from a legal and regulatory perspective is given. Şişecam informed the sector professionals about its exclusive products developed for effective energy saving and the wide range of insulated glass at the forum. The Isıcam K 3+ test tunnel received a great deal of attention from forum attendees who had the opportunity to experience the clearly felt benefits of thermal insulation provided by value added Isıcam products  

Numerous spokespersons as experts in their respective fields and many academics attended the event. The ZeroBuild’22 Forum was organized in 16 different sessions under the slogan "Change Starts Here." The Zero Energy Buildings forum was broadcast live on the YouTube channels of Turkeybuild Istanbul and ZeroBuild Turkey. Related topics such as energy efficiency in buildings and renewable energy systems were discussed at the forum. Another topic of discussion was the transformation to zero energy buildings which was made obligatory for all new buildings in the European Union as of January 1, 2021 and included in the action plans of many countries.
