Since 1 April, Matthias Rink has been head of insulbar Sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In Rink, Ensinger has gained a very experienced and approachable manager who is capable of putting his ideas into action.

Rink would like to align sales even more closely with the customer and the market. In order to achieve this, he will be further developing the structures within the division and the interfaces with other departments.

His aim is to improve the level of service and meet the needs of the customers even better. Alongside this, the 48-year-old has his sights set above all on the digitalisation of business processes.

“Industry 4.0 is going to affect sales too. New possibilities are emerging in the design of customer-supplier relationships”, Rink is convinced. “I am pleased to accept this challenge. I see one of my main tasks as being promoting these developments accordingly, supervising them and designing them to meet the needs of our customers.”

The industrial engineer’s career first took him to the company Witzenmann and then on to the Gates Group, manufacturer of fluid management and mechanical drive technology. At both companies he occupied a variety of management positions in sales of technical products requiring explanation, most latterly as a Global Business Director for pipe couplings.

As far as his personal life is concerned, the family man describes himself as someone who enjoys the finer things, both in terms of food and sport. In his free time he loves cooking, and actively enjoys the outdoors in the form of hiking, jogging or mountain biking. And we learn about another passion: he regularly goes dancing with his wife.
