Events, Masteclass, Forum focusing on the hot topics of the glass industry together with the presence of the most important glass manufacturers, made the difference from the previous editions for both quality and attention.
In a cozy area, RCN SOLUTIONS has shown its patented system, RD CLEAN CONCEPT, for clean edges after lamination that is now a must for several companies who have understood the benefit of an investment returning in saving time, and most of all the respect of the regulations in matters of nominal value of the thickness of the interlayer after lamination. The traditional laminating bags usually press more on the edges, causing the thickness of the interlayer to get thinner, with possible rejection on building sites. RD CLEAN CONCEPT applies a homogeneous pressure on the entire glass surface, sealing the edges thanks to the flexibility of the top, though allowing correct de-airing.
The real star of the show was LIA – laminating integrated automatism – the full automatic laminating system - appreciated by most of the visitors, which, together with the new software Qibi for production flow control, production timeline, consumption data analysis, remote control, bi-directional machine communication, allows detailed production control.
But RCN SOLUTIONS has many other proposals: different laminating kilns and REVA BF interlayer; bending kilns for special curves with heating systems divided into different, independent areas, and chemical tempering plants.
However, one of the values of the company is the flexibility in production, which translates into the possibility of combining machines according to customers’ requirements. The visitors have noted the ability of RCN to find technical solutions, respond to demands and suggest the best production layout with a special focus on the way to facilitate operations.
Vitrum has been a great opportunity for welcoming long-standing customers, spending time with them and listening to their new projects, meeting new companies explaining who we are and our products, and understanding how the glass industry is changing.
