profine Group is significantly expanding its production facilities in Pirmasens, Germany. On 13th October 2015, Dr Peter Mrosik, owner and CEO of profine, and Dr Bernhard Matheis, Mayor of Pirmasens, signed a letter of intent with regard to the purchase.

For the expansion, the supplier of KBE, Kömmerling and Trocal window systems will acquire a 70,000 square meter site from the city of Pirmasens in the immediate vicinity of the profine production facility with 240,000 square meters of space."We are going to invest a two-digit million amount in this business expansion in the next few years," said Dr Peter Mrosik.After the development of this area, from 2017 the initial plan will be to create more space for the logistics.The current plans are to increase capacities for profile finishing in a second step.



Furthermore, profine will shortly begin to build a new administration building at its Berlin site which is scheduled to be finished in 2017.
