PiGs AKA People in Glazing Society brought another fantastic night of networking to Newcastle, with around 130 people attending its latest event, making it another record attendance for the PiGs in 2026.

The Newcastle event was a brilliant reflection of what PiGs is all about: bringing people from across the glazing and fenestration industry together, catching up with old friends, making new connections.

George Lewis, Editor at PiGs, said: “With a great atmosphere throughout the evening, it was fantastic to see so many familiar faces alongside plenty of new ones. The PiGs community continues to grow from strength to strength.”

Newcastle was the latest in a long line of record-breaking events for PiGs this year. From Birmingham and Belfast to Bristol and now Newcastle, 2026 has already been a phenomenal year for PiGs, and the team said they couldn’t have done it without the continued support of the industry.

George added: “A huge thank you to everyone who came along to Newcastle and helped make it such a memorable evening. Your support, enthusiasm and willingness to get involved are what make PiGs events what they are.

“We’d also like to say a massive thank you to our Newcastle Event Sponsors and our Annual PiGs Sponsors.

“Your support allows us to continue bringing the industry together at events across the UK and we genuinely appreciate everything you do for PiGs.”

But PiGs are not finished just yet, with their final event of 2026 to come in Manchester on Thursday 12 November, bringing the curtain down on what has been an incredible year for the PiGs.

George concluded: “If you’ve joined us at a PiGs event this year, Manchester is the perfect opportunity to raise another glass with the industry. If you haven’t made it along yet, what better way to finish the year. Hopefully see you there!”
