The National Glass Association (NGA) will once again gather in Washington, D.C. for Glass & Glazing Advocacy Days, May 13–14, to engage with congressional members and government agency stakeholders on the industry's top policy priorities. Volunteers and staff will meet in small groups with members of Congress to highlight the glass and glazing industry's contributions to the economy, workforce, and human health and safety. NGA's 2026 policy priorities are School Security, Bird-Friendly Glazing, and Workforce Development.

NGA President and CEO Lakisha A. In 2026, one of our key priorities is workforce development, a critical issue in our industry. Investing in the next generation of skilled workers will directly shape how we innovate and grow. When we meet with lawmakers, we’re not just representing an industry, we’re championing safer communities, more sustainable practices and long-term economic opportunity.”
