Kyro Corporation (Glaston Corporation as of 1 June 2007) has formed a new management team and business areas. The company now fully focuses on developing Glaston now that the Energy business area is divested.

“The new organization and structure ensure improving profitability, readiness for a change as well as future growth,” explains President & CEO Mika Seitovirta.



The two primary business areas are Pre-Processing, including manufacture and sale of glass pre-processing machines, and Heat Treatment, responsible for manufacture and sale of tempering, bending and laminating machines.



Glaston’s One-Stop-Partner (OSP) unit is in charge of integrating all products and services as well as offering comprehensive solutions to customers.



Glaston´s management team consists of, in addition to President & CEO Mika Seitovirta, Director of Pre-Processing operations Paolo Ceni (Bavelloni’s Managing Director), Director of Heat Treatment operations Topi Saarenhovi (Tamglass’ new Managing Director), Mauri Leponen (One-Stop-Partner), Tapio Rauhala (After Sales), Kimmo Lautanen (Finance and Information Management), Ari Himma (Human Resources) and Juha Liettyä (Quality and Business Development). Members of the management team report to President & CEO Mika Seitovirta.



Claus Carlsen continues as Managing Director of the Tamglass Glass Processing business area, and Jukka Vehmas as Managing Director of Uniglass.
