With effect from July 1, 2026, Lisa Zhang will assume the role of Vice President, Sales & Service for China and Southeast Asia, reporting to Glaston’s CEO.

Lisa moves into this position from her current role as Sales Director, China, where she has played an important role in developing Glaston’s customer relationships and expanding service capabilities across the region.

The appointment reflects Glaston’s ambition to further strengthen its local presence and customer support in China and Southeast Asia, markets where demand for high-quality, efficient and reliable glass processing solutions continues to develop. By bringing sales and service leadership closer together in the area, Glaston aims to support customers throughout the full lifecycle of their investments, from new equipment and upgrades to services, spare parts and performance improvement.

“I am excited about the new growth opportunities we have here in the region, building on Glaston’s advanced technology, high-quality glass solutions and strong customer support,” Lisa says. “Glaston has an outstanding reputation in the market, which allows us to leverage our expertise to further expand our business across China and Southeast Asia.”

Lisa brings more than 20 years of experience in the glass industry to her new role. She worked at Glaston from 2006 to 2012 and rejoined the company in 2018, when she took charge of the China sales team. Over the years, she has been closely connected with the glass industry and gained deep insight into customer needs, market development and Glaston’s technology offering.

She is looking forward to working closely with the sales and service teams in Glaston China and Glaston Singapore and to deepen customer relationships.

“Glaston is well positioned to support customers in meeting increasing demand. We have the technology needed to help them produce higher quality in greater volumes and are locally present to provide better customer support,” Lisa says, adding that she hopes her strong focus on customer engagement and business development will not only benefit customers in China and Southeast Asia, but also globally.

“We are truly pleased to have Lisa take on this new role and continue strengthening how we serve our customers,” says Miika Äppelqvist, President & CEO of Glaston. “China and Southeast Asia are important markets for Glaston, and Lisa’s strong customer focus, industry experience and commitment to service excellence make her an excellent leader for the region. This appointment supports our ambition to grow closer to our customers and create more value for them locally.”
