As of the beginning of April 2024, Kimmo Kuusela has been appointed Senior Vice President of Sales and Service for Asia Pacific.

He is based in Glaston’s office in Singapore to oversee the sales and service operations of Glaston products in the Asia Pacific region.

“I’m looking forward to working with our existing and new customers to improve their businesses and meet the ever-growing demands for quality and productivity. Automation and digitalization are coming ever more into everyday life in a glass factory, enabling all of us to further develop the industry,” says Kimmo.

“Our product portfolio is extensive to support our customers’ needs with new machines and upgrades, and we are rapidly developing it to further strengthen industry growth,” he adds.

Kimmo has long experience in the glass processing industry. He started at Glaston in 2005 and has been working throughout the company in many different roles. He has had hands-on experience in glass processing and technical support, focused on improving products during his time with R&D and was responsible for the digitalization of Glaston’s products. Kimmo transferred to APAC from Glaston HQ in Finland where he headed up Glaston’s Strategic Accounts and Innovation.

“With Kimmo’s extensive experience and excellent glass industry know-how, Kimmo will be a great addition to our team in Asia Pacific, and above all, to our customers in the region,” says Sasu Koivumäki, CSO at Glaston.
