Following consultation with the staff delegations of its plants in Bascharage and Dudelange (both in Luxembourg), Guardian is moving forward with the accelerated cool down of the Dudelange furnace and merger of the two plant legal entities.

It is expected that the cool down and the merger will be completed in the course of July and August.

Guardian foresees no disruption to its customers in terms of its ability to supply high-quality float and fabricated glass products.
