Gibraltar has been in the news a lot recently due to increased diplomatic tensions between the Spanish and UK governments.

Fortunately Glazing Vision didn’t encounter too many problems as we installed 20 Fixed Flushgaze walk on rooflights 2000mm x 1000mm on a luxurious project to the North of Gibraltar.  The Walk on Rooflights are part of Phase 1 of the project for 20 domestic high end properties on the rock.  The rooflights bring natural daylight into the basements below on the already sold developments.  When back in the UK after visiting site Sales and Marketing Director Jon Shooter said “I was a bit concerned initially about getting in and out of Gibraltar, getting in is never quick and I heard stories of it taking 8 hours to get out the previous week, fortunately we timed it right and we were out in only 20 minutes.  We have worked in Gibraltar a couple of times previously and with our distribution network we were able to offer excellent local assistance with the design and installation stages.  Indeed I visited whilst on vacation visiting family in the area.  I had been to see the architect in their Gibraltar office at the design concept phase, and to now see the project nearing completion is fantastic!”The Flushglaze was chosen as it is one of the only walk on glass rooflight for flat roof applications with an independent BBA certificate.Glazing Vision’s distributor network now covers the whole of Southern Europe, if you have a project in these areas send us your enquiry and we can put you in contact with your local representative.Gibraltar has been in the news a lot recently due to increased diplomatic tensions between the Spanish and UK governments.
