The FTI Community is invited to submit abstracts for the 2026 World Congress, taking place in Pittsburgh, PA, from September 28 to October 2, 2026.

This is your opportunity to present research, projects, and innovations that advance the art, science, and technology of building façades - alongside leading voices from across design, engineering, research, and construction.

Abstract Submission Instructions

  • Deadline: February 1, 2026
  • Length: 350 words or fewer, one image may be included

To submit an abstract

  1. Review the Overview of the Peer-Review Process 
  2. Login or create an account at www.facadetectonics.org/account/login
  3. Navigate to New Abstract on the left menu

Requirements:

  • At least one author per accepted paper must register and pay the discounted author rate.
  • FTI Membership is required. Learn more: FTI Membership.
  • Presentations will be delivered in person, with limited pre-recorded options available

Abstract Review Process

All submissions will undergo a two-stage blind peer review conducted by FTI’s Peer Review Committee, composed of selected 50 academic and industry experts.
Accepted papers will be published on the FTI website.
