FIT Show 2025 is proud to announce Kelly’s Heroes as its dedicated charity partner, reinforcing its commitment to addressing the critical issue of mental health within the construction and fenestration industries.

Taking place at the NEC, Birmingham from April 29 to May 1, this year’s event will shine a spotlight on mental health awareness and wellbeing, providing a platform for vital conversations and support.

The construction industry faces significant challenges related to mental health, with high stress levels, long hours, job insecurity, and stigma contributing to alarming rates of anxiety, depression, and suicide among workers. Research shows that 91% of construction workers in the UK have felt overwhelmed, and 26% have experienced suicidal thoughts. FIT Show recognises the need for action and is committed to raising awareness and driving change within the sector.

Kelly’s Heroes will have a dedicated space at FIT Show 2025 to engage with visitors, provide resources on mental health support, and foster conversations about wellbeing in the workplace. Additionally, Ashley Wilson from Kelly’s Heroes will participate in the event’s mental health panel, sharing insights into the importance of support systems and strategies for breaking down stigma.

Sherry Adams, CEO of Kelly’s Heroes, shared her enthusiasm for the partnership: "Kelly’s Heroes are delighted to be supported by The FIT Show and to have the opportunity to be part of this year’s event. We will be in attendance throughout, on hand to talk about mental health and the importance of wellbeing within the industry. Ashley Wilson will also be sharing insights on all things mental health, highlighting the crucial role of support in the workplace. Support from the glazing industry has always been exceptionally high, and we are truly grateful for the recognition and backing from The FIT Show in raising awareness and breaking the stigma surrounding mental health."

Nickie West, Event Director for FIT Show, commented: "Mental health is a critical issue across construction and fenestration, and we’re proud to partner with Kelly’s Heroes to address it head-on. By providing them with a platform at FIT Show 2025, we aim to drive awareness while supporting our visitors with resources that can make a real difference. Together, we can help break down barriers and create healthier workplaces across our sector."
