Well-respected premium fabricator Dekko Windows Systems is celebrating receiving Secured by Design Accreditation (SBD) on the Residence Collection.

With security and crime prevention a massive consideration for homeowners and a strong selling point for installers, it is another tick in the box for the market-leading Residence Collection, which consists of Residence 9, Residence 7 and Residence ².

Kurt Greatrex, Sales Director at Dekko Window Systems, comments: “As the UK’s largest manufacturer of the timber-effect range, we are absolutely committed to offering our customers the best possible products ‘the way they’re meant to be’. We are absolutely delighted that we can further validate that commitment with Secured by Design accreditation.

“Secured by Design holds a huge level of respect that the industry acknowledges and is widely-recognised by the general public. When people see the SBD mark, they know that the product has been rigorously tested and is of the highest security standard – backed by the Police Forces across the UK.

“The Residence Collection is proving hugely successful and the Secured by Design Accreditation provides Dekko customers with another fantastic selling point compared to other Residence suppliers.”

The Residence Collection is headlined by R9, a luxury nine-chambered window system that has taken the industry by storm thanks to a combination of authentic design with cutting-edge innovation and technological advancement. It is designed to accurately replicate a traditional 19th century flush sash timber window but has none of the maintenance issues associated with this material.

Beautifully flush inside and out, and available in a range of period finishes, Residence 7 features a seven-chamber design and a depth of 75mm, resulting in superior thermal, acoustic, strength and security performance.

Residence ² boasts a 100mm chamber depth and a squarer, more contemporary appearance. Along with impressive U-Values of 0.8W/m2K, all three systems are available with either 28mm double glazing or 44mm triple glazing.

Celebrating a decade in business, Dekko Windows Systems was founded by Gary Torr and Kurt Greatrex, and is one of the leading fabricators of high-end uPVC and aluminium windows and doors. Based in Greater Manchester, Dekko was listed in the 2016 edition of the London Stock Exchange’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain. The report celebrates the fastest growing small and medium-sized businesses in the UK.
