Bi-fold door with MagicGlas

GlasNovations recently installed MagicGlas smart glass in bi-fold doors at a private sea-facing residence in Cornwall. Besides the bi-fold doors, the MagicGlas units were also installed on a large atrium.

The units are double glazed energy efficient unit meeting the requisite energy efficient ratings.

With the flick of the switch, MagicGlas panels can turn from clear to translucent white and vice versa. MagicGlas has the lowest residual haze during the ON state and at the same time has the best obscurity during the OFF state. MagicGlas panels can also be installed in wet environments like ensuite bathrooms, wet rooms etc. In early 2011, MagicGlas panels were installed around a gymnasium and a swimming pool at a private residence in Gleneagles, Scotland.
