Celebrating excellence in innovation and supply chain performance as Thermoseal Group secures “Component Supplier of the Year” for the second year in a row.

Thermoseal Group has been crowned Component Supplier of the Year at the 2025 G-Awards – their second consecutive win of the title following consistent developments in technical capability, product quality, and sustainability performance over the past 12 months.

In a market where security of supply, thermal performance, and material efficiency are under increasing scrutiny, Thermoseal Group’s progress has expanded in-house manufacturing, accelerated product development, and introduced new technology.

According to Mark Hickox, Sales Director at Thermoseal Group, this year’s results go beyond investment, delivering real impact across the industry.

“We are incredibly proud to take home this award once again – it’s a powerful recognition of how far we’ve come, and how much further we’re determined to go,” shares Mark. “Our customers now benefit from more control, more stability, and more room to innovate, and that’s exactly what we set out to achieve.”

Thermoseal Group now manufactures over three quarters of its portfolio in-house, allowing tighter control over quality and production lead times.

The company has also implemented tooling improvements, energy reduction initiatives, and recycling systems to increase efficiency while maintaining product performance.

Recent upgrades include new extrusion and lamination lines, a fully automated packing facility, and a zero-waste Thermobar recycling plant to close material loops and reduce environmental impact.

The introduction of a 28-strand slitting machine allows Thermoseal Group to produce Thermoflex side tape in-house, controlling quality and dimensional tolerances, replacing previously outsourced production.

The machine enables on-demand production from bulk stock to meet customer requirements with consistent, reliable results.

Thermoflex continues to hold its position as the highest-performing flexible spacer bar on the market, independently verified through IFT Rosenheim and BFRC testing. Laboratory investments support faster accreditation cycles and testing that consistently exceed British Standards.

“Our team has raised the bar – not just for ourselves, but for the market,” Mark added. “This award is a milestone, not the finish line. Expect further investments and even higher performance thresholds as we head into 2026.”
