Şişecam Flat Glass Discussed Noise with Architects

The event, which was held for the second time this year at Building Information Center (YEM), addressed the architectural approaches and experiences in the field of noise control.

The leader of Turkish flat glass market and Europe's largest producer, Şişecam Flat Glass has held a special event for the “International Noise Awareness” Day in order to highlight the noise issue, exchange information on the architectural approaches and experiences in the field of noise control and to raise awareness on the issue. The "Architects Discuss Noise 02" event hosted by Şişecam Flat Glass was held for the second time this year at the Building Information Center (YEM).

The event held in cooperation with Istanbul Association of Architects in Private Practice (Istanbul SMD) and the Building Information Center was moderated by Deniz Bayramoğlu. The "Architects Discuss Noise 02" event enjoyed the participation of Aydan Volkan, Founding Partner of Kreatif Architects, Bünyamin Derman, Founder of db Architects, Kerem Piker, Founder of KPM Architects, Mehmet Emin Çakırkaya, Partner of Tekeli-Sisa Architects, Murat Aksu, Founding Partner of MuuM Architects, and Türker Talayman, Founding Partner of Talayman Acoustic Design, who attended the event as guest speakers.

The event, which brought together the leading figures of the architecture and building industry, addressed the issue of noise, discussing architectural approaches and experiences in the field of noise control. Both physiological and psychological impacts of noise on human health was addressed at the event, and the issue of noise was discussed from various perspectives.

The participants of the event had the chance to test Şişecam Acoustic Laminated Glass, Şişecam's Noise Control Glass, were informed on the products of Şişecam Flat Glass and the methods to fight the negative impact of noise.
