The Hotel Therapy project, designed and coordinated by architect Gianluigi Landoni, uses Lacobel glass.

This product, now available in a range of 25 colours, provides reflective surfaces capable of creating unique effects. Such example can be seen at the exhibition, where it forms the backdrop for a cosy environment.

"I reached my destination feeling tired and run-down, after endless hours travelling in a crowded compartment full of weary passengers looking forward to a warm welcome home. I envied them, missing my own routine, wishing I could leave my cares outside the front door, as my fellow passengers would soon be doing. Instead I was graciously received by a gentleman who politely handed me my electronic hotel room key. I hauled my luggage down the corridor, pushed open the door and went in. To my great surprise I found the very atmosphere that I had left behind. I found the warm welcome of a place that was my own. I breathed a deep sigh of contentment and lay down on the fragrant white sheets. I smiled… even a thousand miles away, I felt at home."

...our goal is not a place, but a new way of seeing things...
This is the story behind Hotel Therapy, a comforting and nomadic environment designed to welcome every traveller, providing the atmosphere and impressions of the places they miss. It focuses on the individual and his constant quest for happiness. Even a temporary stopping point can be therapeutic in the search for oneself, in getting back in touch with oneself and with the rest of the world. Hotel Therapy is a comforting hotel module, whose features combine to create a comfortable and welcoming environment.

It is a moveable structure, not confined to any specific geographical location, designed to be the same everywhere. It lays down a challenge and jettisons preconceptions. It is a decontextualised setting suited to any space, and requires no additional furnishings. It is a unique module whose surface design creates a comfortable and welcoming setting. It is a timeless design suited to all surroundings, offering attractive components and functionality, combined with elegant forms and materials to create an attractive and harmonious whole. It provides a welcoming bubble, anywhere, any time, any place.
