A top industry award comes as a grand finale to a year of celebrations as the Saint-Gobain Group marked 350 years of innovation and success.   Saint-Gobain Group was awarded The Derek Bonnard Award for Excellence in recognition of its 350th anniversary at the prestigious G15 Awards.

Glassolutions was a finalist in the Commercial Project of the Year category for its design and installation of high level glass walkways at London’s Tower Bridge, Edgetech was awarded the Customer Care Initiative of the Year and Saint-Gobain Glass was crowned Glass Company of the Year.

Simon Carin, Managing Director of Saint-Gobain Building Glass UK, said: “Companies within Saint-Gobain and the Group itself excelled at the G15 awards this year – and what a year it’s been with major events in cities all over the world. The awards are a fitting end to our 350th anniversary celebrations and it’s rewarding that we are being recognised once again as a world-class manufacturer.

“It is a fantastic achievement and recognises the hard work and commitment of our dedicated staff, who are delivering excellent customer service, which is helping to deliver strong business results.”

The awards were attended by more than 600 guests along with compere and host, comedian Jason Manford, at the Park Lane Hilton, London.
