PPG debuts online Glass Fabricator Locator tool

PPG Industries (NYSE: PPG) has launched the PPG GLASS FABRICATOR LOCATOR tool on

PPGIdeaScapes.com">PPGIdeaScapes.com, enabling website visitors to quickly and easily locate glass fabricators, laminators and commercial window manufacturers that are members of the PPG CERTIFIED FABRICATOR NETWORK™.

The PPG Certified Fabricator Network program represents a select group of suppliers who are rigorously trained in the processing of all PPG glass products and dedicated to providing reliable service, high-quality products and short lead times. These suppliers also offer architects and glazing contractors exclusive access to high-performance PPG glass products, such as SOLARBAN® solar control low-emissivity (low-e) glass.

New tool makes it easy to find PPG CERTIFIED FABRICATOR NETWORK members.

A new map-view feature helps users find PPG-certified partners by location or by member type – fabricator, laminator or commercial window fabricator – using city name, state/province and/or ZIP code. Users also can find network members alphabetically, and customers from outside North America can download contact information for members of the PPG INTERNATIONAL CERTIFIED FABRICATOR™ Program.

Glenn T. Miner, PPG director of construction, flat glass, said the new tool makes it simple for architects and glazing contractors to connect with certified glass fabricators, laminators and commercial window manufacturers in their areas or around the world. “With more than 140 locations globally, our fabricator network has become an industry model by providing high-quality PPG glass products and exceptional customer service before, during and after installation.”

One of the industry’s most comprehensive portals for glass research, product selection and specification, PPGIdeaScapes.com offers architects, specifiers, engineers, glazing contractors and other building professionals access to helpful tools, a robust project gallery, technical documents and an easy-to-use sample-ordering system.
