The solar energy glass manufacturing operations of Tamglass Glass Processing, a subsidiary of Glaston Corporation, will cease in Akaa, Finland, and the entire personnel, 15 persons, will be made redundant by the end of March.

The factory in Akaa has manufactured mirrors for solar energy production as a service activity on behalf of one customer. Tamglass Glass Processing's personnel has been temporarily laid off since October 2009.

The cessation of operations in Akaa does not affect Glaston Corporation's manufacturing and product development of products aimed at the manufacture of solar energy glass.
