Glass for Europe has announced the release of a new video showcasing the contributions of its members throughout the flat glass manufacturing value chain.

The video highlights the diverse actors involved in the sector, ranging from global leaders to small businesses. It places particular emphasis on the thousands of SMEs and glass processing and transformation sites that transform flat glass into advanced products for buildings, automotive applications, solar PVs, and appliances.

This specialized, high-value-added work drives the production of the wide array of innovative products within the sector.

With upcoming legislation such as the Clean Industrial Deal on the horizon, the video underscores the need for measures that support strategic industries like flat glass manufacturing. Tangible support is essential to reflect the importance of this homegrown industry.

The video invites viewers to embark on a journey through the value chain of flat glass.
