Date: 5 April 2012

From March 21st to 24th, the exhibition-duo Holz-Handwerk and Fensterbau/Frontale attracted some 100.000 trade visitors from all over the world into the fully booked exhibition halls of the Franconian metropolis Nürnberg.

The Fensterbau featured 779 exhibitors from 39 nations who showed their innovations and novelties for the window manufacturers.

LiSEC, world leading producer of complete fully automatic fabrication systems for insulating glass units presented GPS.perfectscan – a system for quality control of single glass as well as insulating glass units. It recognizes glass- or production flaws in continuous operation according to individually adjustable quality criteria. Thus any faulty units can be ejected before the value-added process and the customer complaint rate is reduced essentially.

LiSEC underlined its „All from One“ philosophy with the presentation of different production systems for the spacers of i.g. units. E.G. LiSEC – BSV45NK spacer benders can fully automatically produce spacer frames out of all profile types available in the field. For the „warm-edge“ theme LiSEC offers professional solutions as well and presented different machine configurations for the application of flexible spacers.

The sales team was very satisfied with the numerous national and international visitors at the LiSEC stand who also showed great interest in the production possibilities of „light-ig-units“ in double, triple or quadruple configuration using tempered thin glass and offering enormous advantages like low weight, reduced total thickness and increased insulation values compared to traditional units.
