LiSEC seminar for professionals in Lagos/Nigeria

Date: 30 April 2014

Together with the satellite office of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, LiSEC hosted in April a seminar for architects, façade builders and glass processors.

Florian Batik (sales manager for glass) first gave the nearly 90 participants some information on glass and glass applications and among other things provided further information on glass processing basics. In addition, Peter Holzinger (sales manager machinery) and Afamefuna Ike (region machinery sales manager for Africa) explained which machines and systems from the LiSEC range are available to help with these tasks.

In conjunction with the event, a meeting was also held with the Nigerian Standards Organisatie, where we were able to help them to define standards for glass. The body aims to define the specifications for public projects or for our products together with LiSEC because they do not yet have any experience in this area yet.
