LiSEC: „Best In Show“ Award at GlassBuild America 2012

Date: 2 October 2012

The Glassbuild America Show – North America’s annual event for the Window and Glass Industry – was held in Las Vegas, Nevada, from September 12 – 14.

On about 10.000 m2 some 338 international exhibitors presented their news to around 6.300 visitors – all of them experts in the glass field.

LiSEC displayed a FiT-Line which was especially designed for the American market. With its compact configuration, the standard applicator for flexible spacers and the brand new sealing robot for hot-melt sealant, it exactly meets the requirements of this region. The line and its new features were presented in „live“ production runs in which glass experts could see the productivity of this new concept. A glass/unit scanner for quality control provided by LiSEC Software/Automation completed the machinery program of the booth which impressed with technology as well as relaxed atmosphere for business talks. This convinced the organiser of the event to grant LiSEC the “Best In Show” award for the best machinery booth  („ ... there was always a smiling face to greet guests as they entered the booth ... „).

Live-demonstrations of the FiT.Line 5 convinced the visitors

This year the quantity and also the quality of the visitors reached quite a high level and bearing in mind the signed orders which LiSEC could achieve during the show and the expected after-show business (based on the large number of inquiries), one can feel an upswing in North America. Even a lot of Mexican visitors showed high interest in the new concept of the FiT-Line 5.

Superior quality of the products and the second to none sales and service support by its subsidiary in Minneapolis are the cornerstones of LiSEC’s success in North America. The customers have come to know that the Austrian company is not only a machine supplier but moreover a partner who stands with them and supports their operations even during challenging economic periods.
