Lisec Automation: A Success Factor for the Future

Date: 16 April 2012

Automation solutions are becoming increasingly important in the flat glass industry. By consolidating our expertise in automation, we strive to meet this trend.

On January 1, 2012 Lisec Automation, our new globally active business area, came into effect. Headed by Mr Markus Schoisswohl, the new Automation group consolidates the expertise of Lisec Machinery and Lisec Software. This move will not only improve internal processes but will particularly benefit you as our customers. Consolidating our know-how has allowed us to intensively work on future innovative automation solutions.

Increasing Production Speeds While Reducing Error Rates

One of our primary objectives is to develop systems with intuitive control. This is based on the fact that machines are becoming more and more complex, their operation, though, should be kept as simple as possible. Another objective is to design systems that are capable of independently performing as many individual operations as possible. In this way, we can increase production speeds while achieving minimum error rates.

High degrees of automation, however, will not only give rise to more efficient manufacturing processes. By connecting a machine’s control system with order management and production control tools, the whole line can be controlled and monitored from the office. Through the data base and server, each stage of production and all error messages and ready signals can be recorded. The data obtained can be analysed easily with the computer, or on the road using a smart phone.

We Provide the Ideal Solution for You

From compact single solutions to linked business concepts, we provide the ideal solution for you. Thanks to their modular design, all Lisec Automation products can be expanded, allowing them to grow with your demands.
