Russian Construction Week 2024 has started its work at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds.

The week combines two industry exhibitions: the 5th International Exhibition for Building and Finishing Materials and Technologies – RosBuild 2024, the 25th International Exhibition for Glass Products, Manufacturing, Processing and Finishing Technology – Mir Stekla 2024 and the Low-rise Housing Construction Salon.

More than 150 companies are taking part in RosBuild 2024. Regional group stands are represented by the Kostroma, Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, Vladimir, Kirov, Samara regions and the Republic of Udmurtia. About 200 companies from 10 countries are taking part in Mir Stekla 2024 on an area of 8,500 sq.m.

The exhibitions held within Russian Construction Week demonstrate high-quality building materials and the latest construction technologies. Producers of equipment for the glass industry, manufacturers of windows and double-glazed windows, translucent constructions, glass containers and so on showcase their products.

At the rich conference programme of Russian Construction Week 2024, experts discuss specific issues that are relevant to the construction industry today.

Dmitry Pereverzev, Executive Director at the Association of Producers of Building Materials, Equipment and Raw Materials of the EAEU, gave a detailed overview of the sheet glass market at the Russian Glass Forum organised by EXPOCENTRE AO and Komsomolskaya Pravda Publishing House. He noted that last year the production of construction materials grew by 14.5% and in monetary terms totalled just over three trillion rubles. 1.6% of this volume is accounted for the production of sheet glass.

The reports at the forum were made by Mark Edelman, Director at Steklograd Centre of Competences of Glass Industry ANO, Konstantin Avagimov, Director General at Stroygarant Engineering, Dmitry Mikhailidi, representative of research institute “Environmental Industrial Policy Centre” and other specialists of the industry.

The experts discussed a wide range of topics, including the role of state regulation in supporting the industry, the staffing of the industry, the use of artificial intelligence and much more. The event was moderated by Evgeny Belyakov, Komsomolskaya Pravda economic columnist.
