The Glazing Summit’s popular gala dinner will this year provide the perfect tonic to a day of discussion and debates on its return for 2021.

And the change in tone will be headed by Simon Evans, one of the UK’s most respected and best loved comedians, who will take to the stage to provide a hilarious after dinner speech.

The Glazing Summit returns on Thursday, October 21st at Edgbaston Stadium and Conference Centre, Birmingham – and after a day of debates and discussions on the biggest issues facing the industry, delegates will be able to let their hair down.

The Dinner, sponsored by Unique Window Systems, takes place in the plush Edgbaston Banqueting Suite, and will feature a champagne drinks’ reception, three course gala dinner, and private bar.

But the undoubted draw will be Simon, a comedian familiar from TV appearances on BBC One’s Live at the Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Roadshow, and Channel 4’s Stand Up for the Week, and his BBC Radio 4 hit series Simon Evans Goes to Market.

Andrew Scott, Glazing Summit founder, said: “We have had some wonderful after dinner speakers in the past but this year we wanted to mix it up and provide guests with the chance to have an evening of fun and laughter after what has been a hugely challenging 18 months for everyone connected with the industry.

“Simon’s live tour shows and festival appearances are legendary, and on the corporate and after dinner circuit, he’s well-known for providing evenings that descend into laughter.”

“This will be the first opportunity to connect ‘in person’ for almost two years and we’re really excited about this year’s Glazing Summit Dinner, which is set to be a fun-filled event to bring the industry together in a relaxed atmosphere for an evening to remember.”

Guests will enjoy a champagne reception, sponsored by ODL, from 7pm and it will be carriages at midnight. Individual tickets are £149.00 +VAT or tables of eight are £1,100.00 +VAT. To make sure you’re there, call 01934 808293 or email hello@glazingsummit.co.uk.
