GQA Qualifications, the industry’s specialist awarding body, has been named as Technical Sponsor at this year’s Glazing Summit.

The company, which has been writing industry relevant qualifications for over 25 years, will be joined at the event by Building Our Skills – Making Fenestration a Career of Choice, the organisation that is campaigning to attract new entrants into the industry.

Taking place on Thursday, October 12 at Edgbaston Stadium once again, the Glazing Summit is a key event in the industry calendar thanks to its mix of industry debates on leading issues and networking opportunities.

And for Mick Clayton, GQA’s CEO, it’s this reason why the event is the perfect platform – and why GQA has decided to sponsor it for the first time.

“This is an important event for the glass and glazing industry because it will highlight the unique set of challenges the sector is facing and provide the opportunity to hear what we can do about it,” explained Mick.

Both not-for-profit organisations will have a stand at the event, and Mark Handley, Building Our Skills’ Partnerships Manager commented:
