Belgian Designer of the Year Alain Berteau clearly favours the Glaverbel range of decorative glass, as shown by the wide use that he makes of the Lacobel varnished glass and its matt version Matelac, as well as the Planibel glass and even the Blackpearl opaque spandrel glass.





Alain Berteau will be officially presented with the Designer of the Year award on13 October.



His work with Glaverbel glass can be seen at forthcoming exhibitions, in particular:



the Biennale du Design in Liège (from 29 Sep. to 4 Nov.)

and the now famous Interieur Biennale in Kortrijk (from 13 to 22 Oct.).
