Held in Dallas for the first time, with record number exhibitors and attendees

The biggest show in 16 years, the 2024 edition of GlassBuild America: The Glass, Window & Door Expo welcomed 535 exhibiting companies occupying over 200,000 net square feet, and more than 9,400 participants. GlassBuild 2024 hosted 115 new exhibiting companies, and drew participants from 49 states, plus the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, as well as Canada, Mexico and 57 other countries.

For the first time, NGA hosted the show in Dallas, which was a welcome change and created new excitement during the three days of the show.

“We anticipated an event in Dallas that put renewed emphasis on the innovation and advancements of the glass, glazing and fenestration industries as well as provided fresh solutions for the challenges at hand, particularly labor, and this year’s show more than delivered,” says Nicole Harris, NGA president and CEO. “Exhibitors and attendees alike came ready for the business-building and knowledge-gathering they rely on at GlassBuild, and it showed throughout the event.”

Exhibitors reported that the show floor had renewed energy, and that the new location allowed face-to-face meetings with new customers. And attendees from across the Americas and the world traveled to Dallas to grow their businesses and advance their knowledge.

GlassBuild 2024 also hosted the 18th NGA Glazing Executives Forum, the third annual Blueprint for Collaboration educational event for the A&D community, and featured a full roster of education and events on the GlassBuild Main Stage. For the first time, Architectural Glass & Metal Technician (AGMT) certification testing occurred during the show. Twenty-one experienced glaziers from several states and one from Canada came to test their skills on custom testing rigs to prove their knowledge of and ability to properly perform fundamental glazing procedures. Another first-time addition to the event, 50 local students from Plano ISD Academy High School attended to talk with exhibitors, listen to Main Stage sessions, and tour the AGMT rigs, to see the career opportunities available in the glass and fenestration industries.

The next GlassBuild America will take place November 4-6, 2025, at Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
