Float glass production in Mordovia can begin to build in 2014

Group of companies "Mordovcement" plans in 2014 to begin the creation of the republic in a float glass production, which is estimated at 8.5 billion rubles, according to the regional government.  "In 2014, it is necessary to embark on such a major project, as production of architectural float glass.

Supported by the Russian president and will be financed by Vnesheconombank," - said in a statement.

Capacity of the new plant will be 250 million square meters of glass per year. Besides the factory plans to start manufacturing high quality optical glass for solar panels and alternative energy.

The annual production capacity will be 6 billion rubles. The enterprise will create 1.35 thousands of additional jobs.

JSC "Mordovcement" - one of the largest cement producers in Russia. Founded in 1975. Production capacity is 6.9 million tons of cement per year. The share of enterprises accounted for 60% of the total production of building materials in Mordovia.
