FIT Show has announced that it will support all of the People In Glazing, AKA PiGs PiGs UK events, including a special edition when the trade show returns to the NEC from May 10-12, 2022.

PiGs, a networking event for anyone who works in the supply chain of the glazing industry, will be hosted at FIT Show by Certass on the evening of Wednesday 11th May, organised by Balls2 Marketing.

FIT Show 2022 visitors can join the PiGs party on the Certass stand (D49) from 5pm for what promises to be a highlight of FIT Show’s late night opening. Live entertainment will be on offer from Birmingham band, ‘Ellie & The Giants’.

FIT Show will sponsor all four PiGs UK events, which includes March 17 in Manchester, May 11 at FIT Show, June 23 in Bristol and September 29 in Birmingham. Speaking about its decision to throw its support behind PIGs and its UK events, FIT Show event director, Nickie West said: “The PiGs event at FIT Show 2019 was a fantastic showcase of our industry coming together, networking and celebrating the fantastic work that its carries out day in, day out. It made perfect sense for us to support PiGs, not only at FIT Show, but across its UK events, which our industry continues to throw its weight behind.”

Over 1,700 drinks were served at the PiGs evening at FIT Show 2019 with revellers enjoying a live acoustic set and plenty of networking. Speaking about the PiGs at FIT Show collaboration, Balls 2 Marketing Director, Sarah Ball said: “We’re happy to bring the PiGs party back to FIT Show, on the Certass Stand as part of Late Night Wednesday. All PiGs events are sponsored by industry friends and it’s great that FIT Show is supporting the 2022 UK PiGs programme.

“2021 highlighted the appetite for networking and socialising, and that’s exactly what we intend- to bring everyone back together to do both at FIT Show in May and across our other PiGs events.”

Danelle Vanstone, Head of Member Services at Certass said: “After such an incredible event at the last FIT Show, we are excited to combine forces with PiGs by hosting the party on the Certass stand once more! We are all looking forward to catching up with industry friends for a couple of drinks and some great entertainment from our live band”

A number of sponsorship opportunities are still available for PiGs at FIT Show hosted by Certass, organised by Balls 2 Marketing and supported by industry friends. Brands who would like to to sponsor the event should contact sarah@balls2marketing.co.uk for more information.

FIT Show will return to the NEC Birmingham from 10 - 12 May, 2022 and is set to bring together every link in the supply chain - from manufacturers and suppliers of the latest windows, doors, glass, hardware and components, right through to the specifiers and fitters of these products.

Visitor registration for FIT Show is currently tracking at 50% above the same point in the campaign for FIT Show 2019 show, highlighting the appetite to get back to live events. When FIT Show opens in May, it will be the first live European trade show for the fenestration industry in more than three years.

Over 200 brands will display the very latest products and materials for use across domestic, commercial, private and public sector building and renovation projects. Visitors can expect to see the likes of door manufacturer Doorco, glazing experts Glazpart, window systems giant Kommerling, Roseview Windows, lantern roof experts Made For Trade, Morley Glass, Ultraframe, VEKA and Victorian Sliders.
