Spectus windows was established in 1981 and it’s stayed at the forefront of the industry ever since thanks to its intelligent, market-facing approach.

Carmen Velilla, Spectus Brand Manager, says: “Our strategy of continuous progress works because it gets the right products in the right places at the right time. When the environment changes, we’re ready with the adaptions that are needed. It’s not change for the sake of change, which would disrupt and distance our customers – it’s change to meet a need, to improve performance or to enhance the service we offer. The result is a combination of perfectly adapted products, high performance and service that makes the company a complete package.”

This evolution not revolution approach is perfectly demonstrated in the company’s recent product developments.

The mechanically jointed option on its market-leading Vertical Slider brings the authentic aesthetics to a new level, opening up new market opportunities. The 36mm triple glazing bead increases the options for triple glazing.

The 85mm outerframe makes door and window installations much quicker and easier. The Flush Casement system now has a mechanically jointed outer frame option and there’s a French flush casement option too.

The trend for colour is reflected in the five best-selling colours that are now available from stock and no minimum order quantity on any colour.

The demand for flush windows is met in the Flush Casement and the Flush Tilt & Turn. And the range of ancillaries is one of the largest on the market to enable installers to offer perfection every time.

Spectus has moved steadily forwards over the years in design, standards and technology. It has invested in plant, in materials development and in quality systems.

It has listened to the market and it has led the market, and it has never been afraid to amend or improve a product or the way in which its sold.

The approach has ensured the company has remained one of the biggest names in the industry from day one. It’s proof, if any were needed, that evolution not revolution is the recipe for success.
