Window Ware, the one-stop shop for window and door hardware, tools, fixings and consumables, has increased its specialist product offering with a selection of Cubelock window restrictors.

Successfully serving the fenestration industry with leading brands since 1987, Window Ware was voted the UK’s best hardware supplier by industry professionals in 2018. The independent study showed that respondents believed Window Ware’s product quality was second to none.

“We understand the importance of supplying quality hardware to our customers to help them achieve optimum results, meet regulations and keep their customers happy,” says Richard Bryant, Commercial Director for Window Ware.

“That’s why we cherry-pick the very best products and these window restrictors from Cubelock fit perfectly with that philosophy.”

Window Ware has added three restrictors from the Cubelock range – CLS1, CLS3 and CLB1 – offering a quick and simple method of increasing window safety and protecting occupants. Ideal for use in homes and apartments, as well as commercial and public buildings, the restrictors comply with the European child safety standard BS EN 13126-5:2011.

Independently tested to withstand a breaking force of 1971N, the restrictors have a cable length of 200mm and are suitable on PVCu, aluminium, steel and timber frames. Available from stock in white and supplied in box quantities of 10, the restrictors include tamper-proof screws.

Cubelock window restrictors are the innovation of safety and security hardware specialists Newstar Door Controls. Toby Staff, Managing Director at Newstar, says: “We’re very happy that Window Ware has added a selection of our restrictors to its range.

“By making these Cubelock restrictors even more accessible to fabricators and trade customers, it can only encourage an increase in safety measures being taken and that’s something we should all be aiming for.”
